Replace Unhealthy Chips and Biscuits with these Yummy Seed Crackers
You’ll need:
- Pumpkin seeds
- Sunflower seeds
- Watermelon seeds
- Chia seeds
- Flax seeds
- Sesame seeds
- Poppy seeds
- 1/2 tsp caraway seeds (Ajwain)
- 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- Warm water – 1 cup
- Italian seasoning (optional)
- Salt, to taste
How to make:
- Preheat oven to 300 F.
- Mix all seeds and seasonings in a bowl.
- Add warm water and keep aside for an hour. Stir in between 3-4 times.
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Put the wet seed mixture over it in a thin layer.
- You can roll it out using a rolling pin or press it between two sheets. Just remember, the seed layer should be spread thin.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until the seeds are crispy and cracker is firm to the touch.
- Let it cool before breaking apart into crackers.
- Store in an airtight jar.
Munch on them with a hot cup of tea. Or dip them in a simple and healthy dip just like this one.
