HIIT

We all know that HIIT is High intensity interval training where it consists of workouts which need to be done at a higher intensity and at quick pace, thus resulting is your heart rate acting like Usain Bolt, whereas low interval training is where, your cardio is not as that intense and you can rest for a good amount of time which is not the case in HIIT.

Speaking in detail further, HIIT contains cardio where you need to consider a couple of workout procedures and are required to complete a rep or a set in the given time and rest for a few minutes and again get back to the grind.

Low Interval Training

Whereas, in the case of low interval training, it involves cardio at a steady heart rate and you need not jump around in a span of seconds, rather take your time and get things done your way.

Both the exercises are effective in their own way. Comparing a few:

  • Low interval training is simple and can be done as per your comfort whereas in HIIT you are expected to work hard every second you workout.
  • Low interval training takes longer than HIIT since HIIT can be done within 30 minutes or so and as effective as Low interval training.
  • HIIT exercises are a little complex compared to that of Low interval training.
  • Low interval training is aerobic whereas HIIT exercises are anaerobic.

So, you know what is what. So decide for yourself what you would choose among these two. If you are on the run, choose HIIT and if you want to enjoy your mood and enjoy releasing stress out, low interval training is your cup of tea. J
