BODY SHAMING is a Serious Matter!! Here’s How to Deal with It.
All of us want to attain a great physique with toned arms, flat tummy and long legs.
We may not have the best bodies we desire but we should learn to stay comfortable in the bodies.
Not everyone, in the world has the bodies they want, but having fit and healthy body is more important than having being skinny.
Body shaming is mocking someone regarding their appearance and body shape, type, size, look etc. AND IT IS A SERIOUS MATTER!!!
Here at Let’s Redefine we encourage people to be proud and comfortable with themselves and take steps to be better, healthier versions of themselves. We do not condone body shaming. Our aim is to build a community of like-minded individuals, no matter what size you are, who aim to be healthier for the right reasons. 🙂 🙂
Lets us give you a few tips on how to tackle someone who slams you with comments that you are supposed to look a certain way.
Remember these points to give them the answer they need:
1. Love and Positivism can work wonders
Spread positive and love. Please don’t be rude to others or rude as well. The way you speak or the way you act in such situations tells what kind of person you are.
2. Negativity does not belong in your life. Throw it away. NOW.
Ignore the negativity rather than overthinking it and stressing yourself.
3. Exercise can make you Happier & Healthier. You should try it!!
Exercise to stay healthy, rather than starving yourself for attaining a stick-thin body.
4. Learn to Love your Body.
Stay loving your body rather than hiding yourself. Start dressing up and love every inch of your body, because if you don’t who will?
5. Don’t KEEP CALM.
Don’t stay calm if you feel someone else is being a victim of body-shaming. Speak out and help them while you help yourself.
Remember, it always starts with you.
You can only attain the courage to fight back when you accept your body as it is.
Don’t be pressurized to get into perfect bikini bodies if that’s not what you really want. That does not mean you get a free pass to be unhealthy either. Strive to make better choices for your mind and body.
Don’t try to be someone else in the process of making yourself look better.
You are beautiful just the way you are. 🙂
